Develop an augmented reality app that lets the user customize windows and then send that info to local dealers.

With the launch of their new Auraline product line, JELD-WEN wanted users to be able to see the product in their own homes. A chance to visualize how it would look and then contact the vendor to order their windows. The app needed to have all of the different color and material combinations of the windows, Be saleable while staying within their manufacturing abilities, dynamically adjust the grids based on the scale, and lastly be able to document this info and then send it to local vendors.

The result of this project is a free app that allows the user to place digital walls and then place, customize and document windows in augmented reality. The digital walls create a strong anchor for the windows and allow placing windows on complex structures.

Windows are fully modeled and rigged to be able to scale while keeping their level of detail high. The customization is complex but not complicated so that users can easily pick a color, glass type, and more to fit their exact environment. When happy with the layout the user can save it to be sent to a local JELD-WEN dealer to speed up their home improvement process.
